Robert O’Block, founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International, announces his support of Dr. Michael Nuccitelli’s introduction to media and the community his pediatric educational moniker, Dr. Internet Safety. As the largest forensic sciences organization in the world, Dr. O’Block and ACFEI support the mission of Dr. Internet Safety to introduce Internet Safety & iPredator Awareness to children of the Information Age.

New York State licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli, is the author of a technological predator construct, iPredator. His construct explores the dynamics of people who engage in criminal, deviant, nefarious and malevolent activities using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Robert O’Block, CEO & founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International. (ACFEI) announces his support of Dr. Michael Nuccitelli’s pediatric educational moniker, Dr. Internet Safety, to media and the community. As the largest forensic sciences organization in the world, Dr. O’Block and ACFEI support the mission of Dr. Internet Safety to introduce Internet Safety & iPredator Awareness to children of the Information Age.

Technological predators and their pediatric victims are Information Revolution dynamics causing devastation to children, teens and young adults throughout all industrialized nations. As stated by Dr. O’Block, “As an educator living at the beginning of the Information Age, I’ve seen both the educational potential of Information and Communications Technology and the damage it’s caused humanity. In addition to ACFEI’s goal of educating the forensics world of iPredators, it is also vital to educate the pediatric mind.” As part of Dr. O’Block’s educational model, he will be introducing ACFEI member, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli’s construct, iPredator, and his pediatric educational moniker, Dr. Internet Safety.

Children of the 21st century are enamored by the novelty of the Information Revolution. To slow the harm to children and all ICT users, Dr. Internet Safety is announcing his availability free to all offline & online media sources (a.k.a., N.Y.S. licensed psychologist & iPredator author, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli).     The moniker, Dr. Internet Safety, educates all age ranges, but specializes in educating parents, children and adolescents using “net lingo”, Information Age developmental psychology and family dynamics.

Child abuse, whether perpetrated by a child or adult, is detrimental to all aspects of their development following them into adulthood. Stated by Dr. Nuccitelli, “Dr. Internet Safety was developed to hinder the natural instincts of children to rebel against adults attempting to teach them a caution. Instead of Dr. Nuccitelli educating the community on iPredator dynamics and tech. predator profiling, Dr. Internet Safety discusses how “uncool” & “immature” it is to tweet or post how fat, ugly or stupid a fellow student is in their Facebook profile.

Topics Dr. Internet Safety is adept at discussing sensitive to a pediatric consumer base include: cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyber harassment, cybercrime, online sexual predation, internet culture, mobile device safety, ICT relationship dynamics, cyber psychology & regional/national criminal news involving all forms of ICT. A brief definition of iPredator used to create Dr. Internet Safety is as follows:

iPredator:  A child, adult or group who, directly or indirectly, engages in exploitation, victimization, stalking, theft or disparagement of others using Information and Communications Technology (ICT.) iPredators are driven by deviant fantasies, desires for power and control, retribution, religious fanaticism, political reprisal, psychiatric illness, perceptual distortions, peer acceptance or personal and financial gain. iPredators can be any age, either gender and not bound by economic status, race or national heritage.

iPredator is a global term used to distinguish anyone who engages in criminal, deviant or abusive behaviors using ICT. Whether the offender is a cyberbully, cyberstalker, cyber harasser, cybercriminal, online sexual predator, internet troll or cyber terrorist, they fall within the scope of iPredator.

Dr. Nuccitelli has created a variety of creative templates to use by broadcast & internet radio and online & offline print media including “Ask Dr. Internet Safety”, “Dr. Internet Safety’s Top 10 List” and “On the iCouch with Dr. Internet Safety” geared to a pediatric consumer base. In return for Dr. Internet Safety’s volunteer time and services, Dr. Nuccitelli requests that the host media outlet encourage their readers, listeners or viewers to work within their communities to design strategies reducing victimization of children using Information and Communications Technology.

Robert O’Block Announces Commitment

ROBERT-O'BLOCK JUSTICE-CYBER-JUSTICE

Robert O'Block, founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International

Robert O'Block, founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International, announces his commitment to technological predator forensic education. As the largest forensic sciences professional organization in the world, Robert O'Block and ACFEI are introducing information to members and the community relevant to Information Age forensic sciences.

New York State licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli, is the author of new technological predator constructs he has termed, iPredator & iPredator Bridge. His constructs explore the dynamics of people who engage in criminal, deviant, nefarious and malevolent activities using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Robert O'Block, CEO & founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI) announces his commitment to technological predator forensic education to members and the community. As the largest forensic sciences professional education organization in the world, Robert O'Block and ACFEI are introducing information to members relevant to Information Age forensic sciences.

Technological predators and their victims are new dynamics causing devastation across all elements of society. As stated by Robert O'Block, “Many people may not know why I started the American College of Forensic Examiners International. The reason is my belief in justice. Justice for all and the safety of Americans. And now that we live in the Information Age, ACFEI will help educate Americans in the forensic sciences, justice and cyber justice.” As part of Robert O'Block’s educational model, he will be introducing ACFEI member, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli’s, two theoretical constructs, iPredator and iPredator Bridge. iPredator was published in the 2011 winter issue of the Forensic Examiner with iPredator Bridge being published in their 2012 winter issue. A brief definition of each is as follows:

iPredator:

A child, adult or group who, directly or indirectly, engages in exploitation, victimization, stalking, theft or disparagement of others using Information and Communications Technology (ICT.) iPredators are driven by deviant fantasies, desires for power and control, retribution, religious fanaticism, political reprisal, psychiatric illness, perceptual distortions, peer acceptance or personal and financial gain. iPredators can be any age, either gender and not bound by economic status, race or national heritage. Whether the offender is a cyberbully, cyberstalker, cyber harasser, cyber-criminal, online sexual predator, internet troll or cyber terrorist, they fall within the scope of iPredator.

iPredator Bridge:  iPredator Bridge is a theoretical tenet of iPredator representing the psychological, perceptual & behavioral trajectory of people who use Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to harm others. Similar to the iPredator, they are motivated by personal convictions, greed, power, control, narcissismor psychopathology. Different from the iPredator, they have yet to fully engage in criminal/deviant activities using ICT or use complex perceptual distortions to validate the harm they cause. iPredator Bridge investigates why some people draw near to this nefarious and malevolent realm and either proceed in their maladaptive trajectory or cease and desist.

The iPredator Bridge is a symbolic representation of the approach, route and initial crossing into the realm of the iPredator. In a rudimentary and abstract way, it is posited that cyberspace, ICT and all future technological advancements, related to information technology, is an extension of the mind and the instinctual drives of the collective brain to replicate itself outside a human organism.

Dr. Nuccitelli is honored to have Dr. Robert O'Block and ACFEI support his mission to bring to light the widespread growth of nefarious, criminal and malevolent activities in cyberspace. Vital to understanding the theoretical core of iPredator is Dr. Nuccitelli’s staunch belief that iPredators are variants of classical criminals, deviants and nefarious entities. ICT and the Information Age have created a new dimension leading to an entirely new population of humanity engaged in malevolent, harmful and deceptive practices. ICT and cyberspace are not tools used by the sociopath, deviant, narcissist or classic criminal, but part of a new generation that will be permanent fixtures to humanity for centuries to follow.

The study, exploration and understanding of iPredator is the first step in the humanization of global Information and Communications Technology. By understanding iPredator, humanity walks safely in cyerspace.” Michael Nuccitelli Psy.D., C.F.C. (2012)
